-Ms. J
This Friday is the end of Term 1! Please make sure you get all your walkaways made up before Friday afternoon! I am available before school on any day except Wednesday and after school Tuesday through Friday for help!
-Ms. J Please look at the following pages for the characters. If you are interested in playing one of these parts, please practice this dialogue AND any blocking you'd like to use in the scene over the weekend.
I will be looking at how comfortable you feel in those parts as well as your interaction with the other characters in the scene. For example: Catherine and Charlie need to have some sort of chemistry, David and Owen need to interact like they've known each other for years, etc. David and Owen: 46-47 Charlie and Ellard: 39-40 Catherine and Charlie: 41-42 David and Catherine: 23-24 Betty and Froggy: 15-18 Charlie and Owen: 57-58 Betty and Ellard: 35-36 Break a leg everyone! Just a reminder that all late work, make-up work, and extra credit is due by Oct. 22nd at midnight. NO exceptions!!!
Our Shakespeare team took home a bunch of awards this last weekend! Pics and videos of the event will be posted in a password protected page. Please keep your eyes open for the link to the page!
Here's how we did: Dance took: 3rd place in their trio dance and 2nd place in their ensemble dance Drama took: 3rd place in the monologues (way to go Thayne Caldwell!!) 3rd place in their ensemble scene and 3rd place overall in the Sweepstakes award!
